ECOMAR and the Belize Barrier Reef Watch are thrilled to announce the development of a new certification program designed to acknowledge and celebrate the eco-friendly, sustainable practices that many businesses are already embracing.

Our Vision Our aim is to create a Made-in-Belize initiative that honors the contributions of all businesses by establishing a certification that reflects current sustainable practices. This program will also support the Belize Barrier Reef Watch's Citizen Science outreach andd educations programs.

Collective Impact This initiative seeks to showcase our joint efforts, benefiting both the Belize Barrier Reef and the tourism industry as a whole. To shape this program effectively, we invite the business community to assist in its development by answering a few important questions that will align with current practices and interests.
